Companies and other legal entities whose main activity is providing risk capital to non-listed companies are more than welcome to apply for membership of the NVP.

NVP members are reliable, active investors who adopt the company risk together with an entrepreneur. There are some 60 private equity firms active in the Netherlands, most of which are members of the NVP. NVP members account for 95% of the number of private equity investments and 80% of the invested amounts in the Netherlands.

The NVP has a binding code of conduct for its members.
