UN Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) website
The PRI are six principles that aim to help investors (all asset classes) integrate consideration of environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues into investment decision-making and ownership practices.
There are close to 900 signatories to the principles: asset owners, asset managers and service organizations.

American Investment Council Guidelines for Responsible Investing
The American Investment Council membership has adopted a set of comprehensive responsible investment guidelines that they apply prior to investing in companies and during their period of ownership. The guidelines cover environmental, health, safety, labor, governance and social issues.

The UN Global Compact website
The UN Global Compact is aimed at companies that are committed to sustainability and responsible business practices. It offers both a both a policy platform and a practical framework.
It is based on 10 universally-accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption and offers a wide spectrum of management tools, resources, and topical programs.

The Walker Guidelines website
Set of guidelines for Disclosure and Transparency in (UK) Private Equity published in 2007 that is applicable to Portfolio companies, Private Equity Industry and Trade Organizations (BVCA).
