Associated Membership

Parties who are professionally or commercially involved in the private equity and venture capital market are eligible to become associate members of the NVP. This includes accountants, lawyers and jurists and civil-law notaries, acquisition financiers, tax consultants, corporate finance consultants, strategy and management consultants and recruitment and selection agencies.

Terms and conditions

You can qualify for NVP associate membership if:

  • you are a legal person;
  • the organisation where you work is professionally involved in the private equity and venture capital market.

NVP’s Board must approve your associate membership application. The size of the fee depends on the number of fee earners within the organisation. Changes herein are reviewed annually. Read more on the conditions of NVP associate membership in NVP's charter and internal rules.

Registration procedure

To help us process your associate membership application quickly, please return the following - completed and/or signed - documents:

  • a completed registration form;
  • a completed contribution survey form;
  • a completed company profile form(± 15 lines). Upon admittance as an associate member this text will be published in NVP's weekly newsletter and on NVP's website.at least two letters of reference from NVP members attesting to the integrity of the management and their experience in the private equity and venture capital business, to be delivered on the letterhead of the referent;

You may expect the following from us after we have received the documents listed above:

  • Each associate membership application is submitted to NVP’s Board for assessment.
  • If there are no objections, the associate membership will be mentioned in NVP’s next newsletter, which is sent to its members every Friday.
  • You will receive an invoice from us for payment of the associated membership fee
